December 26 (UPI) – YouTuber LadBaby’s parody song “Don’t Stop Me Eatin ‘” was a Christmas 1 Christmas song this year in the UK, the BBC announced.
This is the third year in a row that LadBaby has earned the top spot on the holiday roster. He also had tours with 2018 “We Built This City … On Sausage Rolls” and “I Love Sausage Rolls” by 2019.
The only other musicians ever to have three straight Christmas 1 songs in the country are the Spice Girls and the Beatles.
In a video posted on Friday, LadBaby and his wife Roxanne celebrated the “Don’t Stop Believin’ paradise milestone on YouTube.
“Oh, my God! Thank you,” LadBaby said in tears as her husband danced around the room. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much [much.] Are we done again? … Thank you to everyone who downloaded it, everyone who supported it. Thank you to everyone who achieved again this year. “
Proceeds from the sale of the song went to the benefit of food banks.
The music video has received nearly 1.5 million views since it was posted on YouTube Dec. 18.
The Top 5 Christmases of 2020 also included “All I Want For Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey at No. 2, “Last Christmas” by Wham! at No. 3, “This Christmas” by Jess Glynne at No. 4 and “Boris Johnson …” at No. 5 by The K’s.
