‘LA Law’ Sequel by Blair Underwood in ABC Works From Marc Guggenheim, Ubah Mohamed, Anthony Hemingway & Jesse Bochco – Deadline

RESULTS: One of the most iconic legal plays on television is coming back. ABC is developing LA Law, a new incarnation of the Emmy-winning series Steven Bochco, with Blair Underwood to repeat his role as Jonathan Rollins ’lawyer and action product.

The new LA Law written / action produced by Arrow and DC Myths of Tomorrow co – creator / executive producer Marc Guggenheim and Arrow / legends writer Ubah Mohamed, and direction / action produced by Emmy winner Anthony Hemingway. The son of Bochco, director of TV producer Jesse Bochco, who has been heavily involved in putting the project together, and the widow of the late producer, Dayna Bochco, are the product of action through Steven Bochco Productions. Hemingway production partner Simon Mirren and producer Dan Shaw are also part of the production team. 20th Television, which was behind the original series, is the studio.

This marks a return to the legal drama stroke for Guggenheim, a lawyer by trade who worked for five years before pursuing a career as a writer.
