Kyle Sandilands has talked about his experience of visiting the Church of Scientology Center of Science in Los Angeles.
The 49-year-old radio guest was talking about how Backstreet Boy AJ McLean met Scientology on Thursday when it emerged he had the same kind of experience as well.
Kyle told fellow guest Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he visited the Scientology center on a trip to LA years ago.

After touring the center, he was taken to a media room and invited to see a short film.
‘If you’re lost as a man, and you watch the film you feel like you’re in the right place,’ he told The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
When the video ended, Kyle said he opened the door because he wanted to leave, but the door was locked.
‘And imagine who opened it: Connor Cruise,’ he said, referring to the adopted son of Hollywood actor and renowned scientist Tom Cruise.

It comes after AJ McLean recalled his experience with the controversial faith on his podcast Pretty Messed Up with Cheryl Burke and René Elizondo Jr.
The singer said he ‘lived down the street from the mega center of Scientology’ in 2002 and 2003 and got ‘informed’ about the religion.
‘I didn’t know what it was, I didn’t know about it. But I wanted to not go alone, so I brought a friend with me, ‘he said.
Encounter: As soon as the video ended, Kyle said he opened the door because he wanted to leave, but the door was locked.

‘We got a tour of the facility and they took us to this media room and they sat down on us and said, “Would you be interested in seeing this short film?”
‘And we watched this short film – it was about 15 minutes long – and then I said,’ Okay, that was interesting, ‘and we left and the door was locked.’
‘They wouldn’t let us out and they played the same film again,’ he said.
‘We didn’t get out of that room for about 15 minutes [or longer]. They played it three times until someone heard me knocking. ‘
