The son-in-law and senior adviser of the President of the United States, Jared Kushner, met last night (Monday) with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – a farewell meeting before the end of the term of the outgoing American administration.
Kushner used his words in a joint statement with Netanyahu at the beginning of the meeting to say goodbye to the people of Israel: “I want to express my love and wishes for the wonderful people of Israel,” he said. “You will abide by my daily prayers, and I am sure your future will continue to be bright and exciting.”
“Peace in the Middle East is such an impossible task that it is only possible thanks to Gd,” Kushner added. “Every morning in prayer I say ‘Put peace’, and I ask Gd to grant peace to us and to all Israel. Who will give and we will continue to appreciate Gd’s miracles every day, and always go the right way to make this world a better place.”
“This is a groundbreaking visit that will accelerate the normalization of Israeli-Moroccan relations,” said Netanyahu. He praised Kushner for his role in achieving the role he achieved in the US delegation that accompanied him this morning on a direct flight to Morocco. Peace agreements with Arab countries: “Over the years I have met talented people from different countries, who have tried to promote peace in the Middle East. They all had lofty values and intentions. They all fought to make their mark, but only a few had much success from you, Jared. You can be proud of your contribution to the normalization of relations between Israel and the Arab and Muslim world and to peace in the Middle East. “
“President Trump’s Abraham peace initiative has already created a whole series of breakthroughs,” Netanyahu added. “Peace with the United Arab Emirates, with Bahrain, with Sudan and now peace with Morocco. These are four peace agreements in a few months – and there will be more. I believe there will be many more if we act in accordance with this policy.”
“I want to thank President Trump for his steadfast support and leadership, for everything he does for the State of Israel. I think we all owe him a great debt. We owe a great debt to his great actions and leadership. These achievements will last, like these peace agreements. I thank you “, Jared, and I want to thank all of you for helping with this great effort. We will never forget it,” the Prime Minister concluded.
