Korean Premium: Genesis opens its doors in Israel

Beginning of an article

After two years of thorough preparation, the development of Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis, was launched today (Tuesday) in Herzliya. In accordance with the division’s global quality standard, Genesis is detached from the popular Hyundai models and concentrated under a flagship boutique hall established at 7 Shenkar Street at an investment of NIS 6 million – in the neighborhood with all the premium manufacturers in the country. Genesis will be led by Dana Ravid Menachem, former director of the Mercedes brand at Colmobil, who said upon unveiling: “We will challenge the competitors, offer an excellent alternative and a more relevant customer experience.”

Genesis was declared independent six years ago in the US, in the same format in which Lexus has been operating as the luxury brand of Toyota or Infiniti for Nissan for 30 years. Israel is among the first countries in the world to operate Genesis when it was preceded by a limited number of European countries. South Korea, Canada and Australia In recent years, especially in light of the strategic decision to invade Europe, Genesis has recruited former senior executives from BMW and also headed a former European chief executive (also in North America placed key figures who came from Audi).

Genesis’ service experience puts before its eyes a number of criteria, some of which are not revolutionary but reflect the company’s commitment to the product and the person: a. A personal service experience in which the client is conducted solely in front of a Genesis consultant in everything related to vehicle operation, treatments, collection and return, treatments and the like. B. All periodic treatments for 3 years will be free of charge, as well as a guarantee for a replacement vehicle and provision of road services when needed. This at least forms the basis for the customer-company relationship.
