The Knicks have assigned Iggy Brazdeikis and Dennis Smith Jr. to the Westchester Knicks G League squad, while Jared Harper also joins the team’s active roster in Orlando.
The Daily News first reported this weekend that Smith Jr. to be blown to the NBA G League bubble because he was no longer in the rotation of coach Tom Thibodeau.
The No. 9 overall pick in 2017, Smith has appeared in just three games this season for a total of 28 minutes after falling behind Immanuel Quickley and Austin Rivers in the depth chart.
