Kish: “We have dropped below a thousand seriously ill, the vaccination campaign is starting to have an effect”

The Deputy Minister of Health, MK Yoav Kish, was interviewed this morning (Wednesday) here on Monday and said that the number of patients whose condition is defined as severe has dropped below 1,000: “According to current data, 993 people are seriously ill, close to 7.7 verified of all tests. We saw for a long time. We are finally seeing the beginning of the impact of the vaccination campaign and we will see it in the coming days as well. “If there is anything that can stop the spread of the British mutation, it is this thing.”

Kish also commented on the criticism of the education outline agreed upon by the Corona Cabinet: “We do not call children ‘spreaders of disease’. We all understand the price we pay for our children’s education, but on the other hand we have a responsibility. “Everything else. No one marked the children as problematic. We work carefully, we opened in green, yellow and bright orange localities. We allowed the whole country to meet about 10 children outside in a kind of move that tries to help them.”

Finally, Kish dismissed reports last night of Rabbi Kanievsky’s order to open the ultra-Orthodox education system: “I do not know of any Kanievsky ultimatum. “We are keeping the children healthy, and as Minister Galant said, we are in the middle of the incident and it is not over yet.”

Meanwhile, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced that yesterday we vaccinated 130,000 people, in addition to about 3.608 million people who received the first vaccine in Israel, of which 2,224,000 also received the second vaccine.
