Khabib Nurmagomedov would consider UFC return to fight Georges St-Pierre

He is still a leader in his decision, but Ali Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports that his client would likely ‘build himself’ to go against his St-Pierre counterpart .

“Honestly, I think if Georges St-Pierre is serious about coming back to fight, I would see it happen, that would bring Khabib up,” he explained.

Sadly, Nurmagomedov ‘s father, Abdulmanap, died in July and he always wanted his son to see him mixed with the 39 – year – old.

St-Pierre’s last fight came in 2017 when he defeated Michael Bisping, before announcing his official appointment in 2019.

“I think when we look at those things and Dana as a UFC promoter and leader, that’s what she’s supposed to do,” DC said.

“He has a right to hope that he gets another fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. Why wouldn’t he? I think that’s where we are today. I don’t know for sure that Khabib is going to fight .

“I don’t know if he’s not going to fight. I try to keep a relationship with our relationship. I don’t want to talk to him about things about his career because he’s a star.

“But if you’re Dana White, I think he’s playing it just the way he needs to and I don’t know where Khabib is personally. But if you still ask me, there are I know that I am the man of this word so I do not know what he will do.

“It must be Georges St-Pierre. I believe a big fight is what it would take to prove himself.

“As you said, Khabib Nurmagomedov is just trying to make history and a win over Georges St-Pierre would do just that for him.

“When your resume gets so big, it can’t add much value. If it can go and [fight] ‘GSP’ and the beat ‘GSP,’ that adds value. “
