Khabib Nurmagodev was trying to back up Daniel Cormier on his selection of shoes. Shortly after making contact with his buddy, Khabib quickly noticed in the shoes that DC was sporting a suit during his ESPN reporting duties. Khabib listened to the latter for wearing a pair of ‘Cole Haan’ black tennis shoes with a blue suit and white shirt and decided that he should choose formal shoes instead.
The nature of the exchange shows how close the connection is between the two. Daniel Cormier was an retired Olympic goalkeeper and mixed martial artist who is renowned as an overweight champion in every promotion he has fought. He is also the first UFC fighter to successfully defend his title in two separate weight classes.

Daniel Cormier has been Khabib Nurmagomedov’s long-time mentor and team player at the American Academy of Kickboxing. A day later, DC revealed that Umar Nurmagomedov had promised to buy Loro Piana shoes $ 1200 for him if he won his fight. Umar went on to win his fight after being sent off by Sergey Morozov in the second round.
