Dana White is not one to go back. The UFC president has not given up on his efforts to bring Khabib Nurmagomedov, a retired champion, back to the UFC Octagon.
Speaking to Tony Mui of Complex, Dana White confirmed that Khabib Nurmagomedov remains a lightweight champion and will try to sort things out with him when he visits Las Vegas later this month.

Khabib Nurmagomedov had a tough time in 2020 as he lost his father and coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov to COVID-19 in July. After his third successful defense of his title against lightweight rival Justin Gaethje in October 2020, Khabib announced his retirement from professional MMA with a perfect 29-0 record as a pro.

The UFC and Dana White have held a series of talks with Khabib since his retirement.
