The KFConsole is part of a partnership with hardware maker Cooler Master, KFC said in a statement Tuesday.
“The Bucket Bargain shaped machine features the world’s first built-in chicken room, which is fitted to keep the contents hot, ready to be consumed during intense game sessions,” KFC added.
Your chicken will be kept warm thanks to a purpose-built cooling system that keeps the console’s hardware at a constant temperature while using heat generated by its components to make room warm the chickens.
The console can handle virtual reality games and offers smooth playback thanks to 240 frames per second frame rate and 4K display compatibility, according to details released by Cooler Master.
“This device is capable of running games at high specs, all in addition to keeping your food warm for you to enjoy throughout your gaming experience … what would you not like ?,” Mark Cheevers, director of PR & social media at KFC UK & Ireland, said in a company press release.
“If Sony or Microsoft want any suggestions on how you can design a chicken room for their next efforts, they would be welcome to contact.”
This isn’t the first time the fast food chain has partnered with other brands.
In February, KFC and Crocs announced the KFC X Crocs Bucket Clock, a limited edition shoe covered in fried chicken breast. And, in December 2019, the fast food series teamed up with the artificial fire log company Enviro-Log to offer the Firelog 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog.
