Outside of something appearing at the time of the post, Kevin Durant ‘s quarantine time could not have been worse for the Brooklyn Nets. Spencer Dinwiddie just underwent successful surgery to repair his partially torn ACL and the Nets are trying to kick from rough fatigue – when they lost four of their previous five.
And while Durant is ready to lose four games with his minimum quarantine time set at seven games, he could lose more time. Ahead of Tuesday’s game against Utah Jazz, Steve Nash said on Zoom’s call with reporters. “Quarantine length, I think, is still a moving target.”
“I do not yet have an answer as to how long. … We are waiting for an official word, ”said Nash.
Nash also said Durant is “very upset” to waste time.
“It’s awful for him,” Brooklyn head coach said. “He’s on his way back after such a long run, and then it’s hard to lose games. But we have to stick with it and play the long game, and we know that, in time, it will be back and we forgot about this lost window. “
