Leidos is a science, engineering, and information technology company that provides services and solutions in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets, both domestically and internationally.

The complaint alleges that, during class time, the defendants failed to provide substantial information to investors. In particular, the defendants failed: (1) that the proven benefits from acquiring Leidos of L3Harris Technologies ’Security Assurance and Automation business were significantly overstated; (2) Leidos products suffered from multiple product deficiencies, including faulty explosion detection systems at airports, ports, and borders; (3) as a result of what has been said, Leidos’ financial results were significantly overshadowed; and (4) as a result of what has been said, the defendants ‘positive statements about Leidos’ business, employment and expectations were substantially misleading and / or lacked a reasonable basis. As a result of what has been said, Leidos securities have lost a lot of value, hurting Leidos investors directly.

Leidos investors can, no later than May 5, 2021, try to be appointed as the plaintiff ‘s lead class representative through Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP, or another advisor, or they may choose to do nothing and remain an absent member of the class. A master planner is a representative party that acts on behalf of class members in enforcing the law. In order to be named as the lead planner, the Court must confirm that the class member’s application is standard in the applications of other class members, and that the class member will appropriately represent the class. The decision as to whether or not you should be the main complainant has no effect.
