The 2017 Snyder Cut Justice League releases in March on HBO Max. Word has not yet been released internationally (HBO Max is only available in the US at the moment). But the excitement, especially among Zack Sndyer fans, is at an all-time high.
The Snyder Cut is there because the director’s fans campaigned hard for it on social media. This is thought to be Snyder’s original version of DC’s response to The Avengers. Snyder had left the project before it was completed, and the job was given to Joss Whedon. Many DC fans and critics adopted the theatrical version.
But what’s the big problem and how different is Zack Snyder’s Justice League? Here are some things to look forward to in the Snyder Cut:
The Zack Snyder Justice League will be four hours long
Since it didn’t take a lot of pictures, including some that were shown in the drawers, until the final cut, we’re going to see a lot of new stuff. In addition, new photos were taken specifically for Snyder Cut.
More detailed reserves for Barry Allen, Victor Stone and Arthur Curry
We see more of The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman in Snyder Cut. One of the main complaints about Justice League was that other superheroes and supporting characters were not spread out of the big three – Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman – and were sparsely written. Snyder Cut seems to address this issue.

New characters
Iris West, Jimmy Olsen, Nuidis Vulko (played by Willem Dafoe, who later appeared in Aquaman), Martian Manhunter (Calvin Swanwick had played the character who should have appeared as an alien who shape change in Snyder Cut) and more characters were removed from the theater version. They will be given screen time in Snyder Cut.

Darkseid and Desaad view
Because of the 2-hour command (given by former Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara), intact characters like Darkseid and his lieutenant Desaad were left on the floor of the cutting room. The two monsters appear in a flashback scene in which ground forces fight Darkseid. Darkseid was replaced by Steppenwolf in the scene that ended in the theater cut, and Desaad was not included.

Superman scenes first
Much of Superman’s screen time in the theater cut was reset, thus removing the imperfect mustache using CGI (which led to a mustache gate). The Snyder Cut features scenes that were originally shot, and that includes a black Superman suit.

The climate battle
The final battle between the Justice League and Steppenwolf was completely revived in the theatrical version with a strange, scarlet color scheme that put a lot of it. The Snyder Cut’s final battle will be in the original color tone.
Justice League Zack Snyder will release on March 18 on HBO Max.
