Hapoel Beer Sheva will miss Joshua in the next three games due to the dismissal he received today (Wednesday) as part of a plea deal. ONE has learned that Joshua is considering his future in Israel and feels that he is being harassed.

The Portuguese knows he has a part due to his behavior, but the sequence of recent events give him the feeling that he has been ‘marked’ by Premier League referees and the tribunal. The punishment that Joshua received, as part of a plea deal they had no choice in Be’er Sheva, presents him with a future problem since in any prosecution against a refereeing team he will be automatically removed from four more games.

Joshua is very connected to Israel in general and to Beer Sheva in particular and he really wants to stay in the Negev for at least one more season, but the complicated situation he finds himself in leaves him with a difficult dilemma, whether to stay and play in the Israeli Premier League. “Joss is a football star and apparently in Israel you can’t digest such a player. He feels that they are looking for him with every word and every hand gesture, why should he stay in Israel?”
