The chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, MK Avigdor Lieberman, this morning (Wednesday) proposed to MKs Yair Lapid, Naftali Bennett and former Knesset member Gideon Saar to join forces for a joint list.
MK Lieberman proposed a five-point plan that could form the basis of a common platform of the right-wing bloc – a Zionist and liberal center, he said:
Limiting the term of office of a Prime Minister to 5 years each.
Establishment of a constitution for Israel and establishment of a constitutional court.
– The enactment of a law that will require military or national service for all.
– An MK filed against him will not be able to run for president or be a candidate for prime minister.
Require ovulation of at least 3 women on each list in the Knesset.
Changes in religion and state: core studies, public transportation on Shabbat, civil marriage.
MK Naftali Bennett (right) responded to the proposal on his Twitter account: “Yvette, the real order of the hour is to help the 800,000 unemployed, not 4 politicians. There is already a plan. Feel free to help. The permit is not interesting. “
The Yesh Atid party responded by saying that “the center should unite under Lapid.”
