Johnny Fisher makes his professional debut against Matt Gordon on Saturday
Johnny Fisher thinks he will put Matt Gordon on the much-anticipated professional record as he bids to name himself on the heavy home success scene.
Fisher’s time in the amateurs was short but devastating, with nine of his 10 winners coming through a stop, and he will begin his career by facing Gordon on Kelly vs Avanesyan’s bill Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
‘The Romford Bull’ has been working with trainer Mark Tibbs as he prepares to showcase his destructive power at the SSE Arena in Wembley.
“I have tools, I can put up a scraper and a shower but it’s about using my skills properly,” Fisher said.
“I am in control of this fight, I have a big injection and I don’t have to go to war even though I can.

Fisher has gained valuable experience spurred by unexpected expectations such as Joe Joyce and Fabio Wardley.
Despite not having a large population as a result of the pandemic, the 21-year-old is still happy to step under the bright lights for the first time in a professional face-off ring. Gordon, who has shared the ring with the likes of David Adeleye.
Mark Tibbs will lead Fisher’s role
“I can’t wait for the full experience, I’ve been watching every show from Fight Camp last summer and being involved in one thing is amazing,” he said.
“I’ve learned so much since I started with Mark. I still have a long way to go but with the great team I got around me I’m in good hands.”
