John Constantine to star in upcoming HBO Max series: Reports

John Constantine is described as a DC character unlike any other, due to his noir and gothic discovery effects. As many reports online, the iconic character, played by Matt Ryan on the NBC series Short Constantine, redesigned for the upcoming HBO Max series that is reportedly being developed by JJ Abrams and the officials at HBO Max. Report on Screen suggests that the upcoming version of Hellblazer DC will be a younger version of the character and reportedly played by a color actor. That report also said that the relevant production companies are looking for an actor as Metal sound star Riz Ahmed to fill the boots.

About John Constantine:

Hellblazer DC was first introduced to readers in the year 1985. In the comics, the character is seen dealing with issues related to alcohol consumption and personal demons while making his role in resolving crimes of both normal and occult nature. Two years later, the character got his own show that went by the name Constantine. The short-lived television series was, for the longest time, the only live-action flight of the occult detector, until Keanu Reeves chose to step into the shoes of the anti-waste detective for film.
