Jiri Prochazka predicts Israeli fight Adesanya vs Jan Blachowicz

Jiri Prochazka has issued a warning to UFC Israeli middleweight champion Adesanya about coming up to the light heavyweight division. Prochazka says the 205-pound hits are a lot harder than the midfielders Adesanya is used to fighting.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post MMA YouTube Post presentation, Prochazka highlighted the chances of Israel Adesanya against ruling Jan Blachowicz, the UFC heavyweight champion:

According to Prochazka, Adesanya certainly has a chance against Blachowicz, but he needs to be very careful in dealing with the power in the light heavyweight division:

“I wonder [Adesanya can win], but we shall see. In this fight, I have no prophecy, not one that I really follow. I don’t care. We’ll see. But by Jan Blachowicz, [Adesanya] we have to be much more careful, because in our region, the punches are more dangerous, than in the medium weight. “

Israel Adesanya has not lacked an upper hand in the UFC’s 185-pound division since ending in 2018. In 2019, Adesanya relegated Robert Whittaker to become a UFC midfielder. Since then, he has defended the title twice, defeating Yoel Romero by decision and Paulo Costa by KO in the second round.

In 2021, Adesanya will move up in pressure to face UFC light heavyweight king Jan Blachowicz. The championship-against-championship is expected to take place in March.

Prochazka, meanwhile, is expected to face two-time title opponent Dominick Reyes.
