“I didn’t want to just apologize to PR on social media because I know I have caused crime and pain to the community that I love as much as I have ever wanted to support.

“To know that I have had a devastating effect on the community through my own ignorance I have torn out a piece of my heart. I know I had to deal with my mistake and be educated on a subject I was completely ignorant of.

“The language I used on the podcast was unacceptable, as someone who was always immersed in the LGBTQ + community, I really saw the progress that was made in terms of language, I’m ashamed I didn’t I am ignorant of the potential of the T-slur so far. “

“Murders and assaults are very common in this community and safe environments are very important. I now understand how embarrassing it was to see a clip of me and @mothecomedian laughing at a story that was I should have said better than to tell and to say so, using a word that is so dehumanizing, so dangerous. “
