Jamil Wilson throws from half distance (Oren Ben Hakon)
Jamil Wilson is on the verge of signing for Maccabi Rishon Lezion, ONE learned today (Saturday). The forward, who played for Virtus Roma and Hapoel Jerusalem this season, is on his way to strengthening Guy Goodes’ team for the rest of the season.
As mentioned, as first reported in ONE about Jamil Wilson’s departure from the capital, the player is on his way to a new home at Maccabi Rishon Lezion that needs strengthening and also following the injury of Noam Avivi in the back.
Wilson will become the sixth foreigner of Rishon LeZion, as the team has not yet made a decision on which of Isaiah Taylor and Trey Lewis will leave, but at the same time, it seems that the tendency at the club is to say goodbye to Taylor.
