“I’ve been fighting harder even in the middle of pressure” – Israel Adesanya rates against Jan Blachowicz ahead of UFC 259 show

Israel Adesanya does not appear to be in too much of a threat with his upcoming opponent and UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.

‘Stylebender’, a 185-pound UFC managing champion, will challenge for Blachowicz’s 205-pound title at UFC 259 on pay-per-view (PPV) on March 6th. Many fans and pundits question whether it will be difficult for Israel Adesanya against the size and power of a true Polish artist when he enters the Octagon.

However, in a recent interaction with CombatTV, Israel Adesanya noted that Jan Blachowicz’s physical features do not give him extra points on the ‘threat’ meter. He said of this:

“Nah, no higher than – I have harder fights to be honest,” Adesanya said. “Even in the middle of a weight, so. I don’t know. On the threat meter, out of ten I’ll give it – it’s a real competitor – so maybe seven. Seven points a five, yes, that’s an honest score, I’d give it to him. There are certain things that bother me, but yeah, just another one, man. Just another day. “

Israel Adesanya runs majesty

It’s no secret that Israel Adesanya has performed some amazing tricks during his UFC career. He has proven to be one of the best fighters in the UFC.

Israel Adesanya has amassed two successful title defenses in midfield, and his sights have already overtaken another division. The Nigerian-born champion now has GOAT ambitions, seeking a big fight with undeveloped phenom Jon Jones.

Jon Jones, a former king of the light-heavyweight division, and Israel Adesanya over the years have had considerable conflict. Adesanya has said many times that he hopes that will lead to a major stadium event in Las Vegas.

If Israel Adesanya can win two UFC titles and give Jones the first legitimate loss in his mixed martial arts career, fans will have a new fighter in the debate over the biggest one ever. With big wins over the likes of Paulo Costa, Yoel Romero, Robert Whittaker, Kelvin Gastelum and a few more already underway, Israel Adesanya is definitely on his way there.

In fact, adding another artist in Blachowicz to that list will put Israel Adesanya right where it wants to be. He is right on track to challenge Jon Jones for what can be the biggest fight in UFC history.
