Israeli forces kill Palestine with ‘three-knife’ weapon | Anecdotes on the West Bank

An Israeli soldier has shot dead Palestine on suspicion of attacking troops in the West Bank, according to the Israeli army.

The militia said in a statement “an attacker armed with three knives attached to a stick” tried to attack soldiers on Sunday at a junction on the West Bank south of Bethlehem. No soldiers were injured.

Video shared on social media showed a man in a gray sweatshirt walking beside a highway. He appeared pulling something out of his clothes and started running towards a soldier. The soldier appeared with his weapons on fire, and the man fell.

The weapon shared a photo of the alleged weapon, which resembled a pile of knives with a broom handle.

Previous events

Last week, an Israeli soldier shot and killed a 17-year-old Palestinian who allegedly attacked soldiers with a knife in the Northwest Bank.

Palestinian and Israeli rights groups have accused Israel of using too much force in some cases, and of killing suspected attackers who may have been captured.

Israel has been in the West Bank since the 1967 War.

There are currently about 475,000 Jewish settlers in the West Bank living in communities deemed illegal under international law, in the midst of about 2.8 million Palestinians.
