According to the poll, conducted by a “pool of minds” led by Prof. Yitzhak Katz, if the election had taken place today, the Likud led by Netanyahu would have received 29 seats. There is a future led by Yair Lapid now receives 16 seats and thus Lapid positions himself as number 2. Gideon Saar with a new hope reaches only 13 seats. Right accumulates 10.

This is the first survey since the closing of the lists of candidates for the Central Election Commission. The equality in it is absolute. Any movement here or there may tip the scales. Netanyahu does not really have a coalition, but neither do his opponents. There is also no majority for personal legislation against him, and hence the road to further elections may be paved – and on a fast track. The result of the poll only illustrates how much the election will be decided this time around. The survey was conducted among 505 respondents who constitute a representative sample of the adult population in Israel. The sampling error ranges around 4.4% in each direction.

The left-wing bloc and the right-wing bloc have come prepared for battle, with no party this time serving as a waste of votes sending them below the blocking percentage. On the right, religious Zionism stands with five seats. On the left, both blue and white, both Meretz and Labor, all pass with five seats each. Those who do not pass are the Economic Party, led by Yaron Zelicha and the Prime Minister of Mansour Abbas, parties that are losing votes due to the fact that they have not passed for some time.

Other results – Torah Judaism gets 7. Shas with 9. The joint list gets 10 seats. Yisrael Beiteinu – 6. Total votes of the right-wing bloc, including the right – 60. This is not a coalition. It also does not throw them into the opposition. Limbo.

On the question of suitability for prime minister, the results are very clear. 44% believe that Netanyahu is the most deserving of the position. It is followed by Yair Lapid, who bypasses Saar and reaches 19%. Gideon Saar is suitable in the eyes of 17%, while 15% believe that the right person for the position is Naftali Bennett.

And what does the public think of the possibility of ending the next round at last with a clear decision? The poll shows that after four elections, probably the fifth on the way. 44% say we will go to another election. 34% say a government will be formed. 22% do not know.

In favor of the green character

In a few weeks, a green label program will begin, according to the plan, that will allow benefits for vaccinators and place restrictions on those who do not. The survey examined the extent to which the public connects to the program. 59% said they support both parts of the plan. 35% only support benefits for vaccinators. 6% only support restrictions for those who have not been vaccinated. The age group that fully supports the program, benefits and restrictions, is 75-plus-year-olds. Young people connect much less. Only 36% of 18-18 year olds support it.

To what extent will the Netanyahu trial affect the nature of the vote? The survey shows that 63% will not be affected. 7% said the trial would strengthen their support for Netanyahu. 17% said the trial could keep them away from the prime minister.
