Israel needs flock protection not shepherd protest

The Israeli government on Thursday decided to “get out of the lock,” or what they decided to call a “lock down.”

In Tel Aviv, this “lockout” ended with 2,700 active COVID-19 cases, but when it was launched in December there were only about 200.

Despite the failed national closure and the high variability of the UK variability of the virus, Israel now has only one strategy in place to combat this pandemic – and that is at least 75 vaccines. -80 percent of citizens over the age of 12.

According to Bloomberg media group, Israel – which is currently the world leader in per capita vaccinations – was able to reach this level of infertile citizenship within two months and allow the economy to recover. his return to normalcy.

So now the government needs to consolidate all its efforts and create a special vaccination action group with the right authority to achieve this goal.

For while other countries are fighting over every dose, many Israelis allow themselves the luxury of refusing or even refusing to get vaccinated.

This great rage must end now.

Vaccination is Israel ‘s last resort to ensure safe exit from the pandemic and all measures must be taken to ensure that it is implemented quickly.

Big and small, positive and negative stimuli must be used to get the people into the vaccination centers and the vaccine into their veins.

A positive incentive, for example, could be a property tax exemption if everyone in the household is vaccinated.

Negative stimulation could suspend a special state salary for any adult who is not listed as vaccinated or has contracted coronavirus.

The National Insurance Institute would not be allowed to issue the stipend if it shows that the person has received the second dose of vaccine.

Other positive incentives could include exemption from quarantine after contact with a certified carrier, permitted collections of people who received both measurements, free admission to events cultural and even certain tax breaks.

Negative incentives could include the introduction of a full-fledged employee vaccine as a prerequisite for reopening business and denying access to Ben-Gurion Airport to vaccine deniers.

If we have no other option, even compulsory vaccinations could be debated, such as compulsory military service or the health tax.

Not wanting a vaccine is not a personal issue, just like speeding in your car.

Without a large number of people getting vaccinated, Israel will continue to see high morbidity and coronavirus deaths for months on end.

Vaccination is the primary moral responsibility of every citizen. Refusing a vaccine is not only immoral, but a danger to our fellow citizens.

We as a society need to ensure that all of us have the right to live safely from all dangers – even medical ones.
