Israel has transferred 100 vaccines to Corona to the Palestinian Authority

The state has admitted to transferring 100 corona vaccines from Pfizer to Palestinian Authority medical teams. This is in response to a petition to the High Court filed by the Goldin family, which demanded that vaccines not be transferred to the PA until information is received regarding the hostages held by the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza.

“This fact was not known to the National Security Council”

In a statement submitted to the High Court yesterday (Tuesday), the State Attorneys, Adv. Avi Milikovsky and Sharon Aviram, reveal that the vaccines were transferred at the request of the Authority’s staff and a similar dose of vaccines should be sent to the Authority in about a week and a half.

The State Attorney’s Office clarifies in their response that this fact was not known to the members of the National Security Council and to a representative on its behalf who submitted the affidavit to the High Court last week – and therefore was not included in it.

As you may recall, the Goldin family petitioned the High Court for an interim order banning the movement of people, goods and corona vaccines to and from the Gaza Strip.

Leah and Simcha Goldin, the parents of the late soldier Hadar Goldin, who was killed during the ceasefire in Gaza about six and a half years ago and whose body is being held by Hamas, filed the petition through attorney Prof. Aviad HaCohen. They argued that the Israeli government and security forces allow the movement of people and goods on a huge scale to and from the Gaza Strip, far in excess of what is required by the rules of international law.

It is also alleged in the petition that those involved in this extensive activity are hiding the information from the public, and although they have been approached seven times during the past year demanding the disclosure of the data in this matter have not been answered.

At the beginning of the petition, Hadar’s parents and his brother wrote a reading, in which it was stated, among other things: “For more than six years, the Israeli government and its leaders, as well as members of the defense establishment, “There is nothing behind them and nothing.”

Advocate Hacohen and the legal clinics at the Shaarei Mada VeMishpat Academic Center, which filed the petition, said in response: “The State Notice says it all and confirms what was alleged in the petition. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. The information regarding the transfer of goods, medicines and equipment as well as the movement of people to and from the Gaza Strip and to the PA is hidden from the public and even from the National Security Council.

“It is to be hoped that the High Court will put an end to this and, above all, that the disclosure of the facts will motivate the Israeli government to take real and genuine action to finally fulfill its duty, after six and a half years, and return the boys home,” it said.
