Against the background of the morbidity data in the corona in Israel, which remain high despite the ongoing closure, the Ministry of Health is examining the possibility of revoking the exemption from isolation given to vaccinators and recoverers of the corona virus – this was reported tonight (Saturday) in News 12.

According to the publication, given the disease data that is not declining as fast as expected despite the closure and vaccinations and because the hospitals are busy, the Ministry of Health fears any other source of infection, so a discussion is expected in the coming days.
As you may recall, Israelis who have been vaccinated or infected and recovered are now exempt from isolation following contact with a verified patient or returning from abroad, because he or she is no longer supposed to be infected and develop a disease. The virus enters its airways and infects others, even if it does not get sick on its own.

It was further reported that the total number of cases verified since the outbreak of the plague stands at 638,197, of which 72,123 are active patients, of whom 1,172 are in critical or critical condition and 334 are respiratory. The death toll rose to 4,733, while the total number of recovering people was 561,328.
