Insta360 launches GO 2 magnetic action cam

The new Insta360 Go 2 raises the ante for thumb-sized action cams, resolving many of the threatening issues of the original model.

The Go 2 looks like a big piece of candy – about the size of a thumb and weighs less than an ounce. His camera is protected by a new replaceable lens cover that can be erased if damaged. It has a larger sensor for better video quality, reaching out at 1440p and 50 frames per second with a view of 120 degrees.

Insta360 uses a matte housing that is not as slippery as the original one, while the chassis comes with IPX8 water strength meaning it can burn up to 13 feet of water.

One of the biggest changes is the redesigned case. Slightly larger than the case of AirPods Pro, the Go 2 carrier can be a remote access to capture selfies or connect to the camera while filming. It has two hidden legs that go into a tripod and a small screen to check battery, storage space, and location information.

By itself, the camera can shoot for a solid 30 minutes, but it can go for 150 minutes when attached to the case.

In the box are three climbing options – a pivot stand, a magnetic neck column, and a clip that can fit the edge of your hat.

The camera can be controlled from the Insta360 app which will also be able to edit your videos and help share them on social media or with friends.
