A stream of solar winds is approaching the Earth, space experts have said. A small hole has opened on the surface of the southern hemisphere of the sun, releasing sunscreen. The Earth is just in cross-sections of the particles, with experts predicting the arrival of solar winds on February 2nd.

When the sun grains hit the Earth, the aurora strike can trigger in the Arctic regions.

Solar wind

Solar winds are streams of grains released from the sun’s atmosphere. These winds are made up of different chemicals with trace amounts of heavy ions and atomic nuclei C, N, O, Ne, Mg, Si, S, and Fe. Some nuclei and other isotopes such as P, Ti, Cr, Ni, Fe 54 and 56, and Ni 58,60,62 contain rarer traces.

Should we be worried?

However, it can hurt humans in a different way.

While this solar storm is not a cause for concern, some astronauts believe that a major human could hit, and in a world so heavily dependent on technology, the effects could be devastating.

A recent study from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Russia, said: “A major solar storm could shut down electricity, television broadcasts, the internet and radio communications, leading to major deterrent effects in many areas of life. .

“According to some experts, the damage from such a devastating event could cost up to several trillion dollars, and infrastructure and economic renewal could take up to 10 years.

“Therefore, understanding and predicting the highly dangerous events is of paramount importance for the protection of society and technology against the global dangers of space weather.”

Call for Awareness

The first author of the study, Dr Jenny Marcela Rodríguez Gómez, said: “By understanding the properties of extreme solar explosions and the events of real space weather we can gain a better understanding of the dynamics and variability of the sun as well as the devices corporate behind these events. “

The researchers hope to see an increase in support when it comes to studying solar activity. Therefore, they have called for better infrastructure to monitor the activity of the sun and other cosmic onions.
