Not every day an Israeli player’s name is associated with moving to a major league in Europe, but with Manor Solomon, it seems, it is already becoming a routine thing. After the reports that linked him to the Italian league mainly, in Ukraine this morning (Saturday) reported a possible transfer of the Israeli diamond to the English league.
According to a report published by the editor-in-chief of the local “Sports” magazine, Shakhtar Donetsk, who brought back 20-year-old Mikhail Modrik from the loan season at Desna, did so as Manor Solomon may be sold to the big arsenal soon. “It’s true that Modric scored great for Desna, but why bring him back right now? Well, because Solomon is on his way to Arsenal.”
Solomon, it should be noted, holds a contract until the end of December 2023 in the ranks of the Ukrainian champions – but this is known for her desire to sell as many players as possible to the top European leagues and it does not look like she will put her feet up when the right offer comes. Solomon’s price tag is estimated at 7 million euros.
Solomon completed 17 games this season in a Shakhtar uniform in all competitions, in which he scored five goals and cooked once.
