The midweek round continues: Tonight (Wednesday), five more games entered the 20th round of the Premier League, with the focus of course being Thomas Tuchel, who made his debut on the lines as Chelsea coach, against Wolves. There were also Everton and Leicester – and later tonight, Manchester United will face Sheffield United. This is what happened tonight in England.

Chelsea – Wolves 0: 0
A stormy week for the Blues, following the dismissal of Frank Lampard – and the swift appointment of Thomas Tuchel as his successor. The German made his debut in the new team tonight, and made two changes in the lineup – when he took out Tami Avraham and Mason Mount, and picked up Giorgini and Olivier Giroud.

The Blues were in complete control (no less than 78% ball possession), and 13 kicks per goal in front of only 4 of the visitors, but failed to be accurate, and remained in the center of the table, and with a growing gap from the top. Wolves broke a streak of three losses.

Burnley – Aston Villa 2: 3
A second consecutive victory for Sean Deitch’s team, which continues to run from the bottom and is already nine points (temporarily) away from the red line. Watkins may have put the visitors ahead in the 14th minute, but in the second half they were Ben Mi (52), Dwight McNeil (76) and Chris Wood (79), while Jake Grillish managed to equalize temporarily in the 68th minute. Third loss in four games to Villa, who are slipping to tenth place.
Another result: Brighton – Fulham 0: 0
