And in an exit interview with the Herald Sun, the 56-year-old took the opportunity to beat co-star Ash Williams for ruining her reputation.

The Real Housewife star of Melbourne said the comedian had a conversation they had about whether she would have a chance with him, if interested, creating a false love triangle with Abbie Chatfield.

‘I didn’t know he was speaking from both sides of his mouth,’ Pettifleur began.

We were friends and my question that looked awful was: “You said you look like me and I’m the person you’re interested in, not Abbie. So if I shed the light green for you, what would you do? “

And he says: “Maybe I would go for it”. Then he goes to Grant Denyer and tells me what I said and he should have told me no. ‘

Pettifleur went on to say that her reputation was tarnished when she came across as an ‘old bag’ that loves to go after her.

The building developer and author also said that Ash, 38, was just showing interest in Abbie, 26, to get more broadcast time.

The Australian Daily Mail has reached out to Ash for comments.

In a program of I’m a Celebrity earlier this month, Pettifleur admitted that she could take Ash away from Abbie if she gave him the ‘green light’.

After watching Abbie and Ash chew in camp, she said: ‘Abbie is very fond and Ash is going with the flow. You can’t blame the boy, right? ‘

Pettifleur then spoke to co-star Grant Denyer in a private conversation about her views on the king of muscular comedy.

”[Abbie’s] I’m afraid it’s going to slip away, so it hangs tight, I think, ‘Pettifleur said. ‘And if I give Ash the green light, she’s going to lose.’

Grant got Pettifleur to explain why the ‘light was green’, with her saying: ‘Oh, have a little kiss and cuddle. ‘

Pettifleur said Ash has made her feel ‘much softer’ since she entered the camp by admitting she has lifted her barriers.

‘I’ve been restraining myself in this big iron cage,’ said Pettifleur, before Grant suggested maybe she should look for an unattached campmate.

‘He’s ticking all the boxes for me right now. It ‘s really starting to slip away,’ Pettifleur said.

She then lamented her frustration with Abbie: ‘You can’t even get, like, a frickin’ two seconds, ‘she said. ‘Like, that would be gone if I wanted to.’

Ash later spoke to Grant and Alli Simpson saying ‘he was in trouble’ with the women fighting over his views.

‘So she’s legit huh,’ said Ash, talking about Pettifleur.

‘I have to talk to Paulini genuinely and get her to court the whole thing,’ he said, of the women who are fighting for his respect.
