Megastar Chiranjeevi was in attendance at a preview event of an upcoming romantic film Uppena starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi who will be seen as the main antagonist and narrates the role of Krithi Shetty’s father. The film celebrates Vijay Sethupathi’s second role as an antagonist in a series. He played an unapologetic antagonist in Master.
As it turned out, megastar Chiranjeevi appreciated the whole team of Uppena and praised Vijay Sethupathi calling him a great man and multi-tasking actor in the Indian film industry. Chiranjeevi also said that he fell in love with the character of Vijay Sethupathi (Bhavani) in his recent Vijay’s news Master. The romantic movie Uppena directed by editor Buchi Babu Sana, scriptwriter of the hit film Rangasthalam and produced by Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar, CV Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew and Sai Dharam Tej’s younger brother, Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his acting debut with this film. Krithi Shetty, who is also a debater, plays a female lead in this romantic entertainment set in a small fishing village. Devi Sri Prasad has been brought in to write music for this campaign with Shamdaat tapping the camera and Navin Nooli making the edits.
The film’s trailer was recently launched by Jr. NTR and has captured the attention of movie lovers. The film revolves around a romantic relationship between people from two different social groups.
