Today (Monday) marks International Women’s Day in Israel and around the world, and while stars and celebrities in Israel and around the world are posting posts to promote the status of women, the “Big Brother” presenter Liron Weizmann, Chose an original way to go against this day.
In a post she published, Weizmann explained why she does not like to mark International Women’s Day and wrote: “I do not like Women’s Day. I do not like this day because it resonates with me how much we are not really equal. And how far is still a long way.”

Weizmann added: “I do not like this day, because he reminds me of some more obstacles I will have to skip as if lightly and some more wars I will have to fight. I do not like this day, because he throws me all those times men explained to me how much I Wrong, how much equality is already completely here, and how in general everything is just in my head.I do not like this day, because it brings me back to that time I worked just like the man next to me, and earned exactly 25 percent less. When I discovered it in retrospect, tried again Explain to me why it “makes sense” actually.
“I do not like this day because so many women have paid with their lives, and many others still suffer in the cycle of violence every day. And no one seems to be trying to put an end to it. Post quite depressing so far I know, but in the harsh reality there are also some signs of optimism “Caution: I love this day because I remember all those great women in life that I admire, successful women and champions who surround me, and support each other,” Weizmann wrote.
“I love this day because the change we have made in the last decades, and even in the last two years, is so significant. And it is tremendous to be a part of change. I love this day because it is important. Because there is another way. But with all love, just like with “The army, I hope that by the time my daughters are 18, we will no longer need Women’s Day.” Do you agree with her?
