He was the first contestant voted off I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here! on Sunday night.

And hours after he was fired – which he saw thrown out of his chair into a swamp – Jack Vidgen shared his feelings about the show on Instagram.

In an impressive post, the 24-year-old said the experience was ‘wild and beautiful’.

‘Going into Celeb, I wanted to give everything I had. I was ready to step out of my comfort zone and was excited for Australia to get to know me, ’wrote the Australian Got Talent winner.

‘This experience was so wild and beautiful … I have made the proudest lifelong friends and I am forever grateful!

‘Everyone who watched the show, thank you so much for the love and support! Excited for the year ahead. ‘

Jack was shocked when he celebrated his 24th birthday Sunday, marking the special day with a glass of wine while watching his last show.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Jack said he spent two weeks in the jungle urging him to keep working on himself.

‘I have a lot more work to do. I really like where I am. I love the people in my life and I’m learning to love myself, ‘he said.

Prior to the filming of the reality show in rural NSW in November, it appears Jack spent time at a rehabilitation clinic for substance abuse cases.

On Sunday’s program, Jack, Ash Williams and Travis Varcoe clashed in a ‘Hell Hole of Destiny’ competition, in which they had to guess how many rats were stored in a secret box.

Jack gave the wrong answers and was eliminated from the competition.

The singer was only allowed to say goodbye before being kicked out of his chair.
