Hyrule Heroes: Age of Calamity there was a strong launch back in November. Becoming the best-selling Musou game ever, it gave him an enjoyable prequel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, starting just before the crash.
It was already a very complete experience but it seems that this is not over yet. Tested inside the latest Nintendo Direct, Age of Calamity is getting an expansion pass. Shortly after the show, Nintendo released the following statement:
Expand your quest to save Hyrule with the downloadable content, as two waves of DLC come to the Hyrule Warriors: Calamity Expansion Pass Age. New characters, levels and more have been added along the way, with the first wave coming in June and the second hitting in November. Players who purchase this Expansion Pass on Nintendo eShop for £ 17.99 / € 19.99 will receive both waves of DLC as they are released. They will also receive an additional weapon and suit for Link as a purchase benefit starting on 28thth May. The Hyrule Warriors: Calamity Age Extension Pass will be available for purchase shortly after the show.
It follows the example of Breath of the Wild, which also saw an Expansion Pass with two waves of DLC. We won’t see this new content arrive until May, but you can order now through the Switch eShop.
