Huawei will quietly launch a new version of P40

Huawei has quietly introduced a new version of their flagship P40 flagship. The latest version comes with an LTE connection. Interestingly, the new model is launched almost a year after the flagship series went down.

Huawei P40 LTE comes with other line-up variants that include P40 Lite, P40 Lite 5G, P40 Lite E, P40 5G, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus. The latest model is priced at CNY 3,988 ( About 45,000 approx).

In terms of specifications, the Huawei P40 LTE comes with a 6.1-inch display with Full HD + resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The phone also comes with IP53 certification.

It runs on the internal Kirin 990 4G chipset. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The phone is powered by a 3,800mAh battery. The P40 4G also carries 22.5W fast charge support.

In the camera section, there is a triple sensor on the back. The configuration includes a 50-megapixel SuperSensing primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS support. The camera is also said to deliver 30x digital zoom. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel dual-camera setup.

That said, Huawei is preparing to launch their flagship new series next month. According to reports, Huawei will launch at least three models – P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro Plus. The Huawei P50 is said to run on the Kirin 9000E chipset, while the P50 Pro and P50 Pro + are powered by the main Kirin 9000 chipset.

Reports also state that the base model will have a 90Hz screen. The P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus come with an improved 120Hz display. Screen sizes will also vary. The vanilla P50 will have a smaller 6.1-inch display. The P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus come with 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch screens, respectively.
