Huawei P50 series to launch before the end of March

Huawei’s flagship P50 smartphone series is reportedly to be launched between March 26 and March 28. This launch timeline will go hand in hand with the company’s schedule for the launch of the flagship smartphone series.

Huawei is expected to have the P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro + series in the H50 series. The Huawei P50 is said to feature the Kirin 9000E chipset, while the P50 Pro and P50 Pro + are powered by the flagship Kirin 9000 chipset. These are the company’s latest 5nm chipsets . Huawei is also said to be starting mass production of the P50 smartphones soon with the latest prototype design locked.

The vanilla Huawei P50 is said to have a 90Hz display, while the Pro versions may come with a 120Hz display. Screen sizes will also vary with the expected 6.1-ink display on the Huawei P50, and 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch on the P50 Pro and P50 Pro +, respectively. The company also reports that it plans to use a miniature display on the P50, and a waterfall display on the Pro models. Distributed bidders also unveiled a punch hole display on the P50 series.

The smartphones are expected to come with a camera update, and we may see Leica lenses on them. It is also reported that Huawei is introducing the ‘Space Zoom’ technology which can increase the zoom up to 200x.

The Huawei P50 series is expected to come with support for 66W fast charge, and 50W high-speed wireless charging. In terms of software, these HarmonyOS 2.0 smartphones are likely to run out of the box.
