Fortnite Season 5 has made several changes to the battle royale game that includes a redesigned map, new skins and weapons, and much more. One of the most famous invitations this season is the introduction of IO Guards who usually attack players when they are seen. Now, one of the Fortnite challenges for Week 5 asks players to find and eliminate IO guards scattered around the map.

How to get rid of your IO guards in Fortnite Season 5?
Removing your IO guards is clearly one of the toughest Fortnite challenges you will encounter this week. You must eliminate 50 IO guards in total to complete the challenge and win the prizes. The IO Guards appear in several locations on the map through their fixed destinations. However, finding them can be difficult if you are not sure where to spawn. You can find the exact locations in the IO Guards in the rooted video below.

The video above shows several locations on the map where the IO guards appear. You will be able to get several kills from one place. Once you have removed all the guards, you can move on to the next landmark. You should note that these NPCs are unlikely to spawn immediately when you fall at the above locations on the map. In that case, you have to move away from the landmark and fall again.

Players can complete this Fortnite challenge in solos, duos or squads. However, it is recommended that you complete the challenge in duos or squads to save time. You also need to make sure you have powerful weapons before you can connect with the NPCs. Once you have removed your 50 IO guards, you will be notified on screen that the challenge is complete. You will also receive 55,000 XP for your efforts.
