She generously shook about bicarbonate soda on the oven door – which is known to be a natural alternative to the chemical purchase.

Kacie then ran the scourer underwater for a few seconds before scraping in the oven.

She explained: ‘The longer you leave it, the longer you have to scratch; you don’t get out of this one easily. ‘

Kacie’s top cleaning secrets?

  • Use a non-abrasive sponge to clean soap scum from a shower screen
  • Always use a squeegee to remove water and then ‘polish’ or dry the glass with microfibre cloth for smooth results
  • Water and laundry water work well for cleaning windows

A happy third user said it was a ‘good tip’, while a fourth wrote: ‘Yay! Thank you.’

Other budget products that are considered natural include grapes and lemon, as the acidity in everything is known to kill bacteria.

This isn’t the first time Kacie has gone viral online.

During this year she has also shared videos on how to clean a grubby shower screen and detox the bathroom.

In another video, she told viewers: ‘If your shower screens have hard water stains or you pick up a soap scum, I would use a non-abrasive sponge with Gumption (which is a package) or a Friend Load Bar (which is a powder).

‘Those two scratch on the screen and wash away – as long as the glass isn’t carved, it should come up well.’
