Kangaskhan is one of the most accessible Pokemon from the Kanto area in Pokemon GO.
With a Kanto tour event added to the game, Kangaskhan is one of the gathering requirements, and players must capture one before time runs out.
Unlike many other Pokemon in Pokemon GO, Kangaskhan cannot be captured by just walking around and hoping for the best. Instead, it is part of the attack collection section of the Pokemon GO tour. There are a total of eight Pokemon to collect in that section, and they can only be obtained by completing an attack.
Players should look for a three-star raid to fight against Kangaskhan. When looking for a three star raid, players should remember that the Pokemon that hatch from eggs are random. As a result, they have to hope for a three-star egg like Khangaskhan.
How to defeat Kangaskhan in a loot battle in Pokemon GO
Kangaskhan is not very powerful and can only be found in a three-star raid, meaning it is nowhere near the scale of a mythical battle.
The CP base for Kangaskhan in battle is around 15,000. It’s not a battle in general that players can do on their own. However, getting just one more trainer with a few proven Pokemon can guarantee you a win.
The best counters to use in battle are Pokemon Fighting, such as Blaziken or Machamp, which eliminate a ton of damage. A good set of counters take down Kangaskhan quickly, and using dodges with charged attacks will fill in the best results.
Of course, after the attack, players still have to capture the Pokemon with Premier balls. Throwing curled balls, with a few berries in the mix, will give the best results for catching.
Kangaskhan will be one of the easiest aspects of the attack collection for anyone who bought a Kanto Tour ticket in Pokemon GO. There are eight Pokemon in total, half of which require three-star attack battles.
The other half needs a mythical prey. This includes the three mythical birds and Mewtwo. These battles require at least 4 certified trains to take them off.
On the official day of the Kanto Tour event, loot permits were issued per hour for the completed amount of loot. Players still have a week to complete the collection, but packs and Pokemon will not be as plentiful.
