The feature – known as PowerPoint Presenter Coach – is now available on desktop and mobile versions of the app.
This feature has so far been limited to PowerPoint for the web, but will now be available on all platforms – web, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Microsoft says that the Presenter Coach uses Artificial Intelligence to analyze anyone using the feature to check what they say and “give feedback on their speed, use pitch monotone, use fill words , poor grammar, lack of originality, conscious use. phrases, and more. ”
In addition, it even provides a Summary Report at the end of each rehearsal to clarify the main pieces of feedback.
The company has also added three new parameters that will help people get ready for shows. Here’s a closer look:
Body language
This requires PowerPoint access to video cameras to give users feedback on their body language as they display almost.
This feature will be launched with feedback in the summary report. It includes information such as the clarity of the presenter’s foresight, their proximity to the camera and the quality of their eye contact.
Repetitive language
Microsoft says that although it talks, they may not understand whether they are using repetitive words and phrases and that’s when the Demonstrator Coach tool helps users to avoid overdoing it.
“As well as listing those words and phrases, we’ll also provide a list of words so you can translate them for your next show,” the company said.
Pronunciation
In case the Presenter Coach device detects that a presenter has misnamed a word, it will display the word (s) and even give the correct pronunciation.
The device takes into account accents and appears to have been developed for the “General American English” language for now.
