Dietitian Samaddar explains, “Egg is an amazing food. It is one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. An egg should be part of a balanced diet. It contains about 200 mg of cholesterol in one egg, but research says that dietary cholesterol intake does not directly affect blood cholesterol.Eggs contain extra nutrients (MUFA and omega-3 fatty acids) that may help reduce the risk of heart disease. Adding eggs to your diet will also give you protein, choline, vitamin A and D and biotin. “

“People who are trying to eat a healthy diet should take the egg in moderation to about 1-2 per day. This will not cause any adverse effects on the body,” Samaddar adds.
