A story of hopeful heart, family, and a bit of international spirit.

As revealed in an interesting report by The Times in the United Kingdom, some of James Doohan’s ashes, Star Trekoriginal Scotty, now boarding the International Space Station. They have been there since 2008, and so far it has been a mystery.

Richard Garriot, an entrepreneur, was this heartbreaker who, in 2008, became one of the first private citizens to enter space. After Doohan’s family enlisted his help in fulfilling James’ late wish – finding his way into space after death – Garriot and Doohan’s son Chris put together a plan, which secretly included a laminated card in whether some Doohan ashes entered the International Space Station. .

It was completely hidden… His family were very happy that the ashes put it up but we were all disappointed that we didn’t get a chance to talk about it in public for so long. Now enough time has passed that we can, ”Garriott said said.

The plan was decided after Garriott he had already recorded his supplies for the trip, so to ensure its accomplishment, he kept it a secret from the people in charge of the mission. What do I think is a crime? That sounds like a crime of some sort. But it is probably the most interesting crime I can think of.

This would eventually the first time Doohan ashes ended up in space, but this was not the last time. Some of them were transported to space aboard the SpaceX rocket in 2012, after flight failed in 2008.

Richard said ‘We need to keep this hush hut for a while’ and here we are 12 years later. What he touched was rubbing – it meant so much to me, so much to my family and it would have meant so much to my father, ”said Chris Doohan.

James Doohan, who played Scotty on the original Star Trek, who died in 2005, and has been in space since 2008. His ashes are reported to have traveled nearly 1.7 billion miles through space, orbiting the planet more than 70,000 times. Beam me up for sure.
