Hotel Panic: Why did guests jump from the roof of the 25th floor, with a parachute?

Two men caused a great deal of panic this week among guests at the Grand Height Hotel in Tennessee in the USA – after they jumped from the roof of the 25th floor with the help of a parachute.

The bar guests at the venue panicked and screamed loudly, after being sure the two had jumped without a parachute. “We saw them walk towards the railing and climb on it. Immediately take my camera and I took a picture,” the bar worker repeated. “We actually saw one of them use the bar tables to jump.”

In the video taken by the employee, loud shouts are heard from the people around, calling the security guards. Eyewitnesses said the two simply jumped without looking back, and landed right inside a parking lot.

The employee’s stunned camera still managed to pick up the two as they were collecting their parachutes next to the vehicle waiting for them in the parking lot, and then getting into the vehicle and traveling.

The Tennessee police have opened an investigation into the incident that frightened hotel guests, and although police claim the identities of the two have not yet been verified, hotel management claim they were guests removed from the hotel. “We strongly condemn this irresponsible conduct, and have referred the matter to the police,” it said.
