Bayonetta 3 has been doing so for a long time now, but PlatinumGames has yet to properly port this expected Switch. The series’ creator Hideki Kamiya has also been very tight-lipped – telling fans for the past few years how development is “going well” and not worrying.
So when can we expect to hear more about this exclusive Switch? I hope to be this year.
In a recent conversation on one of the Hamster Arcade Archive streams, Kamiya mentioned Bayonetta 3 when asked what PlatinumGames has been busy with for so long. Here’s what he had to say, courtesy of Nintendo Everything Translation:
“we’ve been working on new stuff like Bayonetta 3, I can’t say too much … but I hope we can provide updates throughout the year.”
He went on to describe how he has some other “unannounced projects” with the goal of giving the industry “a little hype” – so we’re headed for it No referring to what has already been published GG Project – another upcoming release, which is part of a trilogy in which Joe a scene and An Wonderful 101.
“and provide updates on a few projects without warning as well. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say that, but I said it anyway.”
“The point is – I’m trying to do a lot of stuff this year … Please keep an eye on us. I hope to give this industry some hype.”
