The Israeli army, meanwhile, says a drone crashed into Lebanon during an operational operation on the Blue Line.

Hezbollah Lebanon movement has said it fired down an Israeli drone flying over a Blue Line border marked by the United Nations.

In a statement made by Al Manar TV at the move, Hezbollah said it had “put down a drone with the Israeli enemy that entered a Lebanese airfield outside Blida” in southern Lebanon on Monday.

The Israeli army, during an operational operation on the Blue Line, reported that a drone had crashed in the Lebanese region.

“There is no risk of information being broken,” he said.

Hezbollah has previously said it was crushing Israeli drones.

The incident comes 10 days after the Israeli army fired on an unmanned aircraft they said had entered their airfield from Lebanon.

Israel and Lebanon are still technically at war, with UN UNIFIL forces roaming the border.

Tensions in the region have been rising over the past few months amid Israeli airstrikes on Iranian-backed fighters in nearby Syria.

Last year, Hezbollah promised to respond to the killing of one of their militants in the Israeli attack in Syria.

Israeli warplanes and drones break Lebanon’s airspace almost every day.

The frequency of low-level weapons over Beirut and elsewhere in Lebanon has increased in recent weeks, forcing residents to scramble as tensions run high in the region.

Israel and Hezbollah fought a month – long war in Lebanon in 2006.
