UFC heavyweight Ciryl Gane is one of the spectators interested in the fight between top rivals Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis. In an interview with James Lynch, Bon Gamin chose the winner of the fight because of skill.
“I like Derrick Lewis. He’s a fun guy. But I think I go with (Curtis) Blaydes. He has more skills. I think he’s ready (Derrick Lewis) too -hand. “said Gane.
Bon Gamin told Lynch that he believes Curtis Blaydes is the most skilled fighter between the two and expects Razor to end Derrick Lewis in their fight.
Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis will headline the UFC Fight Night 185 event scheduled for February 20, 2021. The event will be held at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Curtis Blaydes (14-2-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) is considered the most active number among active fighters. During his five-year tenure with the UFC, Blaydes has beaten famous fighters such as Junior Dos Santos, Alistair Overeem, Mark Hunt, Alexei Oleinik and UFC Fight Night 184 winner Alexander Volkov.
Blaydes’ explosive two-legged takedown, brutal ground and pound and stream blows on the carpet are the most effective weapons in his arsenal. Lakewood, Colorado also has a standing game, along with a takedown threat that has been good for his fighting career. The only hero to beat Curtis Blaydes is Cameroonian heavyweight Francis Ngannou at level 1, who holds two wins over Razor, both with TKO. Blaydes’ last fight was a unanimous decision over Alexander Volkov in June 2020.
Opponent Curtis Blaydes and No. 4 heavyweight Derrick Lewis (24-7-1 MMA, 15-5 UFC) has been a critical figure in the UFC heavyweight division since 2014.
While The Black Beast has not had a major reputation in its UFC career so far, it has shown moments of consistent success with winners over Gabriel Gonzaga, Roy Nelson, Travis Browne, Alexander Volkov and Francis Ngannou. Renowned for his physical and bonafide percussion power, Lewis has an obvious lack of technical skills.
Unlike some of the other fights, the Black Beast retains its power and carries it into the final rounds which is a major concern for all its opponents.

TKO won over Junior Dos Santos at UFC 256 with Ciryl Gane (7-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) to No.7 place in the heavyweight rankings. Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s No. 3 MMA factory stand is expected to take on the UFC Fight Night 186 main event on February 27, 2021.

Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis have previously beaten No. 5 at Alexander Volkov. But Lewis KO’s win over Volkov in 2018 raised more questions than he answered and the UFC is likely to hold the rematch between the two higher if Lewis beats Blaydes.
So the winner of Ciryl Gane vs. Jairzinho Rosenstruik stands to have a chance to get into the top two of the heavyweight rankings if Blaydes reveals the issue.
