HBO, which is owned by WarnerMedia, has commissioned a new four-part documentary series investigating allegations of child sexual abuse that is ten years past Hollywood director Woody Allen.
Allen v. Farrow created by Kirby Dick, Amy Ziering and Amy Herdy, the team behind the HBO Max documentary On the table. He will investigate the scandals about Allen’s relationship with film star Mia Farrow and allegations of sexual abuse against their children.
The series, which begins Feb. 21, will use police testimony, court documents and a home movie to tell the story of the accused’s abuse, the arrest case that followed and Allen’s marriage. eventually to the adopted daughter of Farrow Soon-Yi Previn.
Allen v. Farrow there will be exclusive interviews with Mia, Dylan and Ronan Farrow, as well as singer-songwriter and family friend Carly Simon, as well as other friends and critics.

In related news, HBO has also announced that they are developing a script feature film based on the recent GameStop stock frenzy, starring Jason Blum at Blumhouse Television, TBTF Productions’ Andrew Ross Sorkin and Len Amato at Crash & Salvage attached to exec result.
