Harel Finance held its two largest annual conferences for business and private clients last Wednesday, with the participation of over 1,000 clients. In contrast to previous years, the conference was held digitally this year and included the production of an invested studio, lectures and a professional panel.
Tal Kedem, CEO of Harel Finance, presented the focus on the company’s investments for 2021 and noted mainly the areas of the green economy and the ESG. He expanded on the need to integrate the field of alternative investments in the portfolio, which also proved itself in 2020 when, in contrast to the sharp volatility in the stock and bond markets, it maintained a constant performance.
Harel Finance’s Chief Investment Officer, Kfir Hussein, estimated that world interest rates will not rise at least in the coming year and talked about key sectors that are expected to benefit from the immunization and return to routine process, including banks, real estate and tourism. This year is expected to close gaps and recommended maintaining a nice exposure to this market.
The Danziger Fund, CEO of Harel Investment Portfolio Management, presented the innovative products developed by the company especially against the background of the Corona crisis. Among other things, the portfolio focused on investments in technology shares was the winning channel of 2020 and presented a unique investment track for qualified clients.
At Harel, we place emphasis on creative solutions for qualified and classified customers. Gabi Moshiev, CEO of the company’s alternative activities, noted that the company’s focus during this period is mainly on real estate debt funds in light of the opportunities in this channel and limited risk levels.
At the conference, Harel presented macro forecasts for 2021, in which an acceleration in economic activity in Israel and in most of the world is expected, as the vaccination process progresses.
The conferences were moderated by Michal Olstein, VP of Business Clients, and Dubi Spiro, VP of Private Clients, who thanked the clients for trusting them this year and noted that those clients who learned not to change the portfolio structure during the months of the year are the big winners of 2020.
Against the backdrop of the Corona’s challenges in investment and life itself, the conferences hosted public historian Yuval Malchi, who spoke about the creative ways that led to the great inventions of the last century.
